The grades entered into the school records are to be understood as follows:

The seminary’s grading policy is based on the conviction that a considerable variety and range of gifts find a place in the public ministry of the church, that almost without exception all of its students already possess such gifts, and that the emphasis in seminary training should therefore be placed on each individual student’s faithful use of his particular gifts and talents.
