The WLS Scholarship Fund exists to support students as they complete the rigorous course of study necessary for preparation to proclaim the unconditional gospel. Rising education costs present a challenge to these men, many of them with families, as they strive to balance their studies and their financial obligations.
Current statistics show us that in the Fall of the 2007-2008 academic year:
- Nearly 95% of the student body received some financial aid.
- The average amount of aid given by WLS was nearly $1,595.00 per student.
- The average debt load of students having debt was $17,772.00.
- $148,345.00 was distributed from the WLS Scholarship Fund.
Financial grants-in-aid and scholarships are awarded every October and February based on declared need, academic achievement, and campus service as evaluated by the Financial Aid Committee and the Governing Board of WLS.
